Brake swap complete.

Easiest one I've done on any car I think. Hardest part was breaking the rotors loose from the hub.

Brake swap? From stock to what? Or are you talking about a pad and rotor change. If the latter then yes, a 30 minute project with a little PB blaster.

Yes, just pads and rotors. Just thought it would have been a little more difficult. The first rotor front drivers side, was pretty well stuck on but the others came off with just a little tap.

To make this thread useful for anyone reading....

Sometimes with rotors and drums for that matter, there is a little threaded bolt hole. It's so you can take a bolt and thread it through and it will pop the rotor/drum off if it's really rusted on there. Since brake components can get nasty-stuck from years of salted roads during the winter in some areas.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle

Great tip! I remember seeing that on brake drums, and always wondered what that threaded hole was for. I wonder whether the Evo has the same arrangement on the rotors. Can anybody confirm it ? ..

Yes, confirmed. Depending, of course, on what rotors you are using.

They do have the hole. (Stock rotors) All four in fact, however when I tried using this hole the bolt simply broke off in the hole, no rotor movement. A moderate couple taps with a padded hammer easily did the trick.
