The materials of the pad/rotor combo will squeal primarily when low-speed braking in cold weather.
I've heard Girodisc Magic Pads and Stoptech pads can have less squeal in those conditions than the OEM pads, but you might have slightly lower braking performance. Probably nothing you'll notice.

As I mentioned on Page 1 of this thread, I recommend going with the Racing Brake ET500 pads. I switched over to them and, after following the prescribed brake in procedure, haven't had so much as a squeak since. Even in really wet and/or cold weather.

It is 0 degrees outside today here and still no noise on the way to work.

Also, haven't noticed any difference in stopping power with these pads, so it is win win.

squeal is obnoxious, but I've noticed that, at least for me, just breaking a little harder seems to fix the issue. Even if its already squealing if I just press a little harder I brake faster but no squeal.

Honestly though I kinda like the looks I get from the gate guards when I go on post.

"Bout time to get those brakes checked isn't it?"

"Nope. Performance brakes squeak"

Then drive off kinda quick and make sure they can hear the BOV

I can vouch for these pads as well. I've been running them on all 4 corners for about 6k miles and haven't ever dealt with squeal.

You should take pride in your brake squeal when pulling up to the gate. That what I do.

My stock pads did the same and only got worse with the cold weather. It was like nails on a chalk board and the only thing that took it away would driving in reverse and then giving it a firm stop. I switched to Hawk HPS pads and they started squeaking after 3K miles of use.

I'm now on Girodisc Magic Pads and they are fantastic. Very quiet and efficient. I would highly recommend them. The company is very supportive and the product is quite affordable.
