Whats a nice set of winter wheels everyone runs? Trying to get a feel for what i ahould get

Use the stockers with a 235/40/18 winter tire.


Buy a wider set of wheels for non-winter use.

Yeah, thinner is often better, but not when they're shorter. 225/45/18 is a better choice.

same , but i would buy a wider tires /rims for anything else.

Good call. I definitely overlooked the tire's overall diameter.


My suggestion put it at ~0.40" shorter than the stock tire's diameter, while yours was closer at ~0.20" taller.

Stockers...

I run 235/45/18 Michelin Alpin Sports on them. MUCH taller than stock, and I love it that way.
