Can 10.5" wheels be run on stock tires?
Basically Ive got newish stock sized tires on OEM wheels. I want to get wheels now and then will get wider tires when its time to replace.
Thanks.

9.0" - 255
9.5" - 265
10.0" - 275
10.5" - 285
could do it but at extreme stretch! And most reputable shops will not assist you in this. Rims overly exposed to damage.

You can do 265 on the 10.5 wheels,
But 245 on 10.5?... no way unless you plan to glue the tires to the rims like the stanced guys and slam the car hella flush. If you do, you will also have to start scraping every driveway, bragging about how damaged your fenders are, and chain smoking e cigs. So proceed with caution, it's a slippery slope :-)
If you can afford these Volks, the cost of new 265s (e.g. PSS or RS3) for them is <50% of what they cost. The Volks are out of my price range.

If you can't afford the setup with tires then you cant afford the setup.
Much like the old saying "if you can't afford the maintenance, then you can't afford the car" (often said after discussing used BMW, Mercedes, Audi's).

Thanks everyone.
These are almost 4k wheels for a 36k car, of course I can afford the tires. I don't sell stock parts and would hate to see a brand new set of tires just sit in the garage. I like how frugality means you're broke around here...
