Tire size help

I'm buying a set of Enkei T6S 18x9.5 +15mm. I've asked a few local evo owners what size tire they recommended and I got everything from 245/40 to don't go any less than 255, but 265 is ideal.

I wanted to see if I could get some input from the community. The car has stock suspension. I'd prefer to not have to roll the fenders. Some forums I've read said these wheels with the mentioned sizes rub and some said they didn't, so I'm confused.

Why wouldn't you just get the same tire size as OEM?

255's are tight and many with 265's are running modified alignment and/or fender mods to avoid rubbing.

I'm on 18x9.5 +15 wheels with 265/35/18 tires on stock struts with H&R lowering springs and none of my fenders are pulled/rolled. I have zero rubbing in the front and only a little in the rear when theres a bump in the road, nothing crazy. I would go with 265's if I were you.

Why not decide the tire you want first, then get the wheel to fit it?
