I've learned a bit since my stay at EvoM as well. I don't own an Evo, but I'm definitely a fan. My reason for joining wasn't really about the Evo, though, despite being an Evo enthusiast. On one of the Subaru message forums, there was a thread regarding Mark's untimely and tragic death. I felt compelled to offer condolences to not only his family, but his friends as well. Despite being on "opposite sides of the fence," when it all comes down to it, we're all AWD enthusiasts, no matter the make or model. Instead of joining just to offer condolences, I figured I'd stick around.

This site is definitely is definitely an invaluable asset to not only Evolution enthusiasts and owners, but to the entire AWD community.

I had never had the opportunity to interact with Mark, but it's clear that he was a well-liked person, not only from what people say here, but elsewhere as well. We owe him a great thanks for creating such a great site.

Thanks, Mark.

Wow. I guess I haven't kept up much here as I'm a little late with my response, but this is very sad news. This site's amazing growth is as much a testament to how it was run as to the Evo's following. My prayers go out to Mark and his family.

Wow I guess that I am late on this one. Living in Vegas I heard the story but had no idea about any of those people. I am sorry to hear this not knowing him personally I cant say much. But thanks for creating a site where hundreds if not thousands of people everyday get to become long distance friends and share a love for one common thing.

So...
The little I know about my own car is because of him?
And I can honestly said I got an Evo beacause of him?
Thank you Mark for this community, RIP and keep an eye on all of us, you are in a better place now.
God Bless Your Family And Friends....
