spoiler fading

Ok I did a search and came up with nothing.

My spoiler is staring to fade and have white markes on the CF.

The dealer has a new one fro me, but I was wondering if you could change out the center only?

Can the spoiler be broken down into 3 pieces or is it on single piece?

TIA

Did you get a new one through warranty cause I am having this same issue and the damn service rep is suppose to come down to look at it, but it's been a damn month and I got nothing. Thanks man.
I am not sure about the spoiler breaking down either.

I went to the dealer and showed them and they ordered a new one.

However they said they needed to paint to the one and match the paint and all the other hoo haaas. I would rather them just replace the center piece instead of having the car for 3 days painting the sides and what not.

They said it does not come apart but I am wondering how they mask off the CF side inserts but still paint along it.

Can you give me your dealer info so I can have my dealer contact them so I don't have to wait for this regional service guy to come out and look at my spoiler? Thanks man.

I have been with zymol.

My carbon fiber hood on my GSX hasn't done this.

Mitsu should have put a thicker gel coat with better UV protection on it.

even though zymol is a cleaner wax, you should try a light rubbing compound. That should take care of any white marks or oxidation.

just give you dealer the paint code and tell them to paint the wing and you will be in when its done getting painted to have it installed. theres no reason they need your car there while the wing is being painted.

if it needs to be painted that means it comes all as one unit.....
