yes, it actually says to follow the severe maintenance schedule only if your vehicle is fequently driven in the following road condition

-more than 50percent operations in heavy city traffic during hot weather above 90 degrees

It's from Mitsu NOT THE DEALERSHIP. Someone said that the freee maintanence expires Nov 1st?

Just picked up my Graphite MR @ Alhambra Mitsubishi 5 hours ago, the sales manager assured me that i will receive free schedule maintanence for every 5000 miles. If it wasn't free, He said their dealership charges $76 for basic oil change for evo because they use mobile one synthetic. Just wondering how much the major service cost?

I know the dealer that my dad got his MR from on Tuesday said nothing about free maintenance... I asked him later on if they mentioned that to him, and he said no, so what's the deal you guys think?

Well, I just picked up my Graphite Grey a few hours ago, and I did have to make sure and ask several people several times before I got an answer I was happy with. The salesmen originally told me that I would get the 3yr/45k mile free maintenance, but then when I met the service manager, he said he hadn't heard of that. They way they check is by typing the VIN into the service system and seeing what prints out. When I saw the printout, it had much shorter warranty times and no free maintenance, so I was really worried, but then the regional manager came by and said that I DEFINITELY was getting the full warranty and free maintenance, but that it wasn't showing up because my car had only been RDR'd an hour prior, and that had not gotten through the system yet. Once the car is RDR'd in the system, then the proper warranty and maintenance schedule shows up. I am calling back tomorrow to make sure it has all shown up in the system, but at the very least, I have hands-down assurance that the purchase of my car was contingent upon the 5/60 b2b, 10/100 pt, 7/100 corr, 5/50 rd, and 3/45 maint agreement.

We need a dealer to get on here and confirm..I am seeing no such program..

It may be already built into the selling price from your dealer and you may not know it..(?)

Maybe, but I doubt it.

If it's built into the selling the price, then everyone gets it, because I paid MSRP only with no markup. If it's included in MSRP, then I don't care.

Every salesman and the regional sales manager said the free maintenance definitely was included. The manager even called again to make absolutely sure and there was no question. It's also independent of the dealership, so EVERYONE should get it. Even if the dealership didn't tell you, it will show up when they input your VIN after the car has been RDR'd (not sure what that stands for, but it confirms the sale of a specific VIN).

I wonder, If you use the free maintenance oil change every 5000 miles, Do they void your warranty for not changing it every 3000 miles?????HMMMMMMMM

I see your point but..

Would it be possible to NOT get it if you didn't want it? Save some $$$??

My guess is no. If somone has or will post a scan of the MR window sticker, by law the Maintenace will need to be on there as a listed option/feature.

Otherwise, the MSRP is actually less and the maintenance is NOT included in the price..

Which means you ARE in fact paying for it.."seperate"..

Chaeck your original window sticker and see if the maintenance is listed anywhere on there..
