My guess is no. If somone has or will post a scan of the MR window sticker, by law the Maintenace will need to be on there as a listed option/feature.

Otherwise, the MSRP is actually less and the maintenance is NOT included in the price..

Which means you ARE in fact paying for it.."seperate"..

Chaeck your original window sticker and see if the maintenance is listed anywhere on there..
Separate programs Mitsubishi offer's on their vehicles are not included and have nothing to do with the selling price. Pretend the Best Backed Cars gig was up. MSRP will still be the same. As an incentive to buy a Mitsubishi, they've offered it. Let's face it. Mitsu isn't doing too hot. They need all the help they can get. Thank goodness for the EVO and the maintenance. The warranty has been pretty good too. Many customer's are intrigued by this, hence, feel very comfortable with their purchase.

By the way, you lookin' for an MR yourself? I'd offer to sell you one, but you're quite the distance. It'll probably cost $900 to ship it. Would it be cost effective to get one through me? =)

They should keep the free maint, cause they are not helping with the warranty thing, it's the least they could do.

I wanted something in writting stated that I had the free maintenance. The service manager ran a "vehicle inquiry" on my VIN and the printout shows all of the cars options, colors, key code, and the FSM (free scheduled maintenance) every 5000 miles up to 45,000 miles. I will be keeping this printout just in case there is ever a question in the future.

hey
Does anyone know any service manager on the board, I wouldn't mind having him run my vin number to get a print out that says free scheduled maintenance, because the place where I bought my car says that the MR does not qualify?

Hey allen_petty, where are you located, maybe i can get your service manager to run my vin number for me??
thanks

Otherwise known as the "window sticker"..

must have this on the window sticker if it is "included" in the MSRP..

Anyone got a window sticker stating the Maintenance is included??!!

just got my first oil change at 1000 miles as was suggested by many on the board, it was free, from the sales department.
at the same time i had them run a VIN inquiry and print it out for me and it does say FSM XXXX, replace the x's with 5000 mile increments up to 45000,
do you think this should be good enough; I mostly drive highway???

When I bought my 2005 Evo, I was told I get a free oil change every 5,000 miles up to 3 years or 30,000 miles, which ever comes first. This is under the Free Regular Scheduled Maintenance Best Backed Sales Event 3/45 program. I was also told this included my 30,000 mile tune up b/c that was considered regular maintenance and was at the 30,000 mark. Now when I went to get my 25,000 mile oil change the guy at the counter told me I don't get the "complete" 30,000 tune up just certain aspects of it and I have to pay for whatever else I want. I don't have any paperwork stating explicitedly that I am entitled to the entire tune up included in the program. Has anyone been through this situation or know where I can find this out or what I can do?
