double clutchin. and heavy launchin

just wonderin if it is good to do this. some people showed me in their car on what this is but everybody does it differently. i dont know. does any body know what this is. is it only for first gear or you do this for all the gears. oh also wanna know what heavy launch is. thanks. dont wanna do something taht can mess my car up.

Depends on your idea of Hard Launching.

As for double clutching... totally useless on syncro-mesh transmission like most modern gears. Secondly, even if it wasn't, double clutching is really only effective on super high HP cars... which the Lancer isn't. Sometimes you can't believe everything Vin Diesel tells you... what a world.

anything out of the ordinary will mess up something... either your clutch... or even your motor or even your whole tranny... depending on what you do... but... let me warn you... becareful

double-clutching help preserve the syncro-mesh... especially while racing and switching between gear combinations like 5 - 3 for a turn.

WHAT?!?! Dude, it is totally and completely useless beyond extra wear on your clutch, and wastes your time between gears. Power gains don't exist with this method, but I GUARENTEE you'll take longer on shifts by doing this.
