i dont drive an evo, nor am i obsessed with gran turismo, im a ridge racer fan, and i drive a rather rare unheard of car.

How did you come about owning a Turbo Interceptor?

 

a very difficult long term obsessive search that lasted 4 years.

along the way i learned the machines original purpose and history.
and by the time i finally found it, in a museum of "pipe dream police vehicles", i had already known all there is to know about thew machine inside and out. save for a few yip yaps here and there that i discovered once getting to know the machine in person.

this machine was in england, bronze colored, with the lights on top, and a police kband under the dashboard.
the interior was a very ugly dark red leather.

i changed the interior to a khaki white leather, and cleaned all the insides and outsides of the engine. which had loose wires here and there were either pulled off or cut by knife.

the machine was then painted according to the movie that began my car obsession. rainbow black, and quite a few coats of laquer to give it that "ghost" effect.

the car is loud, but you feel it coming before you hear it. which is the real work of a smeg head cop, since being low profile is impossible. i hate that >.<

the machine is 2.2 liter, just like the mr2 which i just recently purchased. yet it pushes more power than i had originally expected.

i honestly dont know how to tell you to get one, i began by speaking to dodge, then i spoke to chrystler, then after getting NO help from the jokes over there, i ran to the internet like the cry baby i am. yet i didnt get lucky till after a long, long on and off search. and help from friends

ive raped cocky vipers, a ferrari 2005 in long island, and my ex's hem

going from zero to ***** in 4 seconds is not funny ^^
the lack of power steering makes me unhappy though. if im sitting still, turning the wheel is a *****. and the wheel has a very 80s style security system: it locks if you try to move it when the car is off 9.9

plus since it not a modern car, i have the ability to leave the lights on by accident after parking and walking away. (which i do OFTEN and end up embarrassed walking back to the car minutes later) im clumsy. and me have brain size of peanut :P
