about cold air intakes..
I was looking at the AEM cold air intake and it's about 200 bucks so im thinking of installing it..then i thought "how hard is it??" i only have some knowledge on engines, so would it be hard or moderatley easy for a guy like me?

My Injen was a breeze to install. The hard part is getting the stock components (especially the MAS) out. After that, we did it in about half an hour with almost no light at 2 in the morning. Pretty basic.

does AEM make short ram intakes? if they do, is it probably about the same difficulty as the one you installed?

We have a parts index for a reason as it's a pretty good place to start lookin'. Manufacturers websites are good as well. www.aempower.com if you're interested.
Help them, help themselves.

bobaab, the way I always say it is. "if you can turn a wrench and have half a brain you can install an intake with no problems."
Including disassembling the stock airbox up to the MAS you should be looking about about 30-60 minutes total.

Auto Lancer needs Short Ram. We have one. Ask guys with it, they love it!
