I'm sorry if this is kinda of a dumb questions but I'm getting a evo soon so I wanted to know if they sell MRs in the US because I was at this one website and it said that they are only Japan sold cars so I was like damn. Is it true?

 

No they sell the MR's in america. They started selling them in 04.

 

To answer your question, yes the Evo MR is sold in the U.S.

Few people on here are nice, but the ones that are are really helpful...lol, I'm surprised no one has said anything mean....and yeah, they make the MRs here, but they're even harder to find than the GSRs...at least when I looked awhile ago

 

oh I well right now the closest and fastest evo I can find by me is just the VIII I live in Grand Island, Nebraska and there is one in Omaha just a couple miles away I'm having trouble finding the MR though.

 

Another evom member had some problems finding an MR.. (MisterSpoot82) He found one, but then one of the detail boys took it for a joyride. So then he had to wait around for another one. And now.. poor MR.

Come down to Denver for one, I know there's at least three for sale.

 

Technically, if it helps the search at all, the MR is that is offered in the states is the MR edition of the Evo 8.

The MR is not available in the states. However, the Evolution 8 MR Edition is available in the states.

oh **** for real well can you go to like your nearest Mitsubishi dealer and then ask them if they have MRs and if they don't can you like ask them to order one from another Mitsubishi dealer from nearby would it cost me anything?

 

It would cost shipping, that's what we did with my '03, we had it shipped up from AZ to a dealership here...some dealers will do it, and some won't...but if they do, shipping shouldn't be too huge of a cost, I'd guess like 500-600...but maybe I'd be guessing wrong

That shipping estimate is what it would be to ship a mini...my friend's been looking and to ship here it'd be like 550 on most websites...so totally just a guess...but on a 30k car, what's an extra 500?
