Just won't work, and the piping is too big on most Evo cat-backs (3"). I don't know if rebending pipe is a good idea, either. The same shop could probably custom make you a cat-back if you wanted for about the same price.

RRM makes an axleback or you can go the cheaper "welded" route and get a custom one from a muffler shop.

anything possible with money. Thou, like others have said, get one that is made for our car, or get it custom made. You probably heard this before, but the RA exhaust system is excellent and topnotch, just change the muffler. Ive driven a members custom made catback exhaust RA and it's fast, but the trq down low is pretty much gone, my low end trq is THERE!

Exactly. The stock exhaust was tuned from factory for optimal flow. You might gain a little bit at the top, but you'll lose that initial off-the-line power, unless you've got the engine mods to justify a bigger exhaust.

Besides, our exhaust systems are pretty darn nice for stock. Mandrel-bent, stainless steel, 2 1/8" ID....

I'll agree stock exhaust is big enough no point in blowing money on a catback. Only reason I could see is if your turbo even then 2.5" would be suffucient.
