Thanks, sounds nice, hopefully i'll have them by then. Not sure if I will, depends how hard it is to get a better deal on my cars.

Won't have much to show with Stock.

Now my only other concern with a RA is that I am going with a Auto, so the one thing i'm wondering and worried about, is ever finding a Turbo, if I choose to put one, that fits a auto, is there any at all out? Can any be moded to fit a auto?

try to do yourself a favor, get a MT. It's fun, alot of fun slinging thru gears. Unless you live in a busy city, MT is no problem. As of right now, there is a turbo kit out for the MT RA's. As of yet, no word of turbo kit for the AT RA's. You could def get cheaper than 40k for both, possibly 35k-37k OTD! I got my RA 17k OTD, well worth it. When it comes to acc. you hit it on the nail, evo spoiler, mesh inserts... but try to get the sports pedals and premium titanium shift knob, also if you really want it, get the AERO KIT, IMO it looks great... i would trade our stock lipkit for the aero kit

About the MoD even, who cares about stock... most of us just have I/E and a few exterior mods. The RA is freshly new, so not much is out... give it a few more months, there are alot of things comming down the pipe.

He isn't doing you any favors for 2 at $40,000.

I bought the 04 RA when they first came out and I paid a little over 20 otd also. 40 for 2 sounds like a rip, especially when you flash the cash at them. Play hardball with them, but show them that you want the car and it's either gonna be him that gets the sale or the other Mitsu dealer down the road. I'm sure he will straighten up then.

As far as a MT being a pain, it really isn't. It can be real cumbersome when you first are learning. But just try not to be intimidated, cuz it's not as bad as it looks or may seem. If you can get someone to teach you on their car before you get yours that would help too. The performance you will get from the MT make you much happier than if you had an AT. Plus RRM already has a turbo kit for the MT and I believe a stage 2 is in the works.

Good Luck

Ya, 40k didn't sound like much of a deal to me either...
I really want to get a Manual, but I just am worried about learning it, from what my dad says, since there is alot of signals/traffic here, it would be annoying as hell, and that there "Isn't much need for a MT anymore" Says him, and I really don't plan on racing it. So MT just doesn't sound necessary

BUT, then I keep thinking "What if I want to put a Turbo in later?" There isn't one for a Auto yet, so i'd be SOL

I'm gonna try to pull them down more then 40k, from what everyone is saying, they should go alot lower, gonna aim for 35k or lower.

Honestly, if anyone has any suggestions on the MT or AT thing, go for it...
MT is for performance I know, but the Auto is alot less annoying.

get MT, no dissrespect to AT owners, but I find the MT alot more funner, and I don't mean racing either. The RA was my first MT car and I learn on it, I came from a AT lancer es, and it's like night and day... def worth it. Plus MT is cheaper than AT, about 500bucks cheaper. Atleast get one MT and one AT.

Well, the thing is, i'm only buying two because my brother is forking over the cash for his, and i'm forking over the cash for mine. He's only 17, doesn't have his license, he's gonna most likely get a Auto...
I keep thinking i'm gonna get a manual..
So indecisive.
It's alot harder of a decision then it should be.

For two non-S&S ralliarts $40K is a total rip off. Few people have paid over $18K US OTD for a RA. I would aim for about $35K OTD ($17.5K per for an 05 seems reasonable this early in the year). If they won't give it to you, go to another dealership. Buy at another dealership, but your local one can still take care of all your service needs.

As for dealership add-ons, make sure they sell them to you at wholesale, not retail. The Evo wings should run about $400 each (retail varies from $400-$1,400, depending on how much the dealership sucks), plus about $120 for each pair of mesh grilles (retail is about $200.) Not much else that the dealership can offer you that you couldn't get cheaper elsewhere.

Also, since you're being so nice and buying two at once, I think the dealership should give you the mesh grilles for free as a thank-you gift.

As for turbo, you won't have a problem getting one for an auto. Worst comes to worst, you'd have to become an adopted child of RRM and they'd build a kit just for you and make sure you're well taken care of.

Get a manual tranny, too. Easy decision. I haven't heard of anybody regretting getting one on this car, but I have heard of people regretting getting the AT (less power to the wheels, less fun)

Here, if you have cash to buy 2 new cars out the door, you may have 10 bucks to spare for this service, they will tell you the invoice cost to the dealer, and you can negotiate on that price.
