I was thinking of getting the wing for my 05 WW RS. Please vote yes or no. Thanks

 

i would if i owned one, but it all depends on what kind of look you are going for. If you are going for the "sleeper" look than wingless is great, but if you like the extra bling so to speak than go for it. It is all preference, but i think it looks good with the wing

 

Its a tuff choice because I love the way Evo's loo with theyre wings. Its like theyre signature exterior part. But I also like the sleeper look without.

 

Very difficult to choose.. I just did some chops of my ride without the wing.. I like the wingless look but I don't think I'd ever do it to mine.

EDIT: But NO I wouldn't put a wing on a RS if I bought one.. I mean thats kind of the point in buying one

 

One of the baddest Evo's I've seen didn't have a wing, he took his off, but It was a sweet lookin ride. All he did to it was change his rims, and lose the wing.

I swapped my RS trunk and some $$$ for a VIII trunk and wing, including the British "Evolution VIII" badge, and I am glad I did. The downforce of the wing is functional on the racetrack, and now I really feel like I have an EVO.

 

contemplating for a year now, see my wing in fix...

 

I like the non ricer attracting rental car look myself, also the look on peoples faces when they realize what they are looking at is really funny.

 

Don't put one on. I just don't see the point. If you had wanted one, why not just get the regular evo?

 

I have an RS and used to have wing-envy but now I'm happy with the spartan look of the RS. Maybe after I've done all the go-fast mods I'll get bored and add a wing. But for now I'm much more interested in more performance rather than more bling. (If I were tracking my Evo I might consider it more seriously as a performance mod.)

 

i'd rather have a carbon trunk =P
