But really... do you need 6.0 Liters of displacement for 450 HP????????

There is no better engine than thou art bullshiot, run what you brung no excuses and no apples to oranges comparisons. 450hp = 450hp whether it's in a turbo 4 cyl or a big V8. Man where's the love?

Tis not true.....
It's all about technology.
Old tech vs. new tech.
You have to admire the technology involved in a 4 Cyl. that can produce the same amount of HP as a motor twice the size. Sorry but i am an engineer and I believe that high tech is way better than low tech. It's personal opinion.....
I had on my board here at work a diagram of the Z06 displacement and the new EVO IX displacement.
EVO IX displacement:
2.0L = 286 HP = 143HP/L
Z06 displacement:
7.0 L = 500 = 71.43HP/L
If the EVo IX had 7L it would produce 1001 HP
Obviously its in jest.....
But interesting none the less.

Seriously, let's stop this debate right now because it is only going to end in tears.
EDIT: The Z06 would walk the **** out of an Evolution.

EDIT: My last point being if you want to say "my car makes 450HP" then either engine will do. If you want more linear output of power to reach that 450HP...that 6.0l V8 is going to do the job better.

Not saying one is better than the other, but it's worth considering.

The fact is 450 is 450 whether it's from a turbo 4 or V8 and niether is better or worse than the other, on the 'entire' average of racing applications.
