GOD DAMN!!! Even angled exhaust are RICE? What isnt rice anymore? Im scared to do any external mods to my car, because I dont wanna be rice! I thought LOVE was the most misused four letter word, but I guess RICE took the #1 spot!

Honestly I don't care if you want to put what I consider ricey stuff on your car, just don't say it's functional. You bought it because it looks cool, and IMO, thats rice. But to each his own.

I think everyone here would probably say an angeled exhaust is functional. Just like someone else said on this post, it minimizes the bends in the piping. But like you said to each his own.

wake up dorks!!!!!! we all drive riced out cars from Japan. It's not like we are talking about angled exhaust for our V8 muscle cars. Remember that Evos are considered counter-culture in USA. Angled look exit is at home on cars like ours Evo, Sti, and Sylvia, Skyline. Stop the hate!!!!!!

I don't have an angled exhaust, not because they're ricey, but because I'm not flashy and don't really care if anyone notices that I have a performance exhaust, plus I think a tasteful looking straight exit tip looks awesome. Just my .02 sorry to keep this thread going without helping.

RICE thread

Can someone give me a complete list of what is "rice". I am new to the forum and want to make sure that I know what is considered rice. Not that I am going to take advice on my mods based on rice vs no rice, but I want to know ahead of time. BTW just because a mod does not improve performance does not mean it is rice. There are plenty of M3s out there with carbon fiber lips and 20 inch wheels. I am pretty sure they are not "rice".

I have JIC Majic Bullet racing exhaust - it is angled and I don't care what anyone else says - everyone that does'nt like it - show me pics of your car and everything I don't like I will label "rice" too! Dude, if you like the angled look - go for it!
