angled exhausts?

hey guys i was looking at the HKS Tit catback and i was wondering if the muffler angles when it comes out? if not, which ones do? i think there's nothing better than seeing an evo with basically a missile coming out the back....any ideas? i know there's TONS of exhaust threads on here but none of them answered this question.

I have the HKS 30th anniversary and it is angled. (the carbon ti and hks hipower are the same) The magnaflow ti is also angled. The buschur is not. RSR is not. That's all I know.

I agree it is a little played out, but it still looks great plus depending on the exhaust, it helps keep the bends down to a minimum.

If memory serves me correctly, I think straight.

oh my.. angled = played out to the max!

sleeper = priceless.

there is a performance theory behind having the angled exhaust. The one less bend it takes to keep it comming "straight" out the back like the stock exhausts, greddy evo's, and borla, allows for "better flow". less bends = more flow.. supposedly... anyway, any of the TI exhausts have the "angle" your'e looking for.

hmmm, all you people saying angled is out or angled was never in, guess you dont know that the less bends your pipe has, the smoother the flow. They do it to give less bends, not for the look. Yellowevo21 I would highly recommend getting a "played out" exhaust. I had the greddy ti and didnt like it. The weight factor is awesome, but no resonator makes it too damn loud when running catless. I would recommend the turboxs tbe. It is an amazing exhaust, and has a great sound and comes out at an angle with a ti burnt tip. IMO not saying it is the best pipe on the market, but as for looks, remember IMO it is the best looking for the evo.

Yes, it's correct that a straight pipe will flow better than one that is bent. However, if you think you'll ever see a difference... you won't!

I'm pretty sure the HKS Carbon Ti comes out at an angle. To each his own, but I'm with you, I think the "sideways grapefruit shooter" looks great.

And those of you saying "less bends = more power", you're only using that as an excuse to be a ricer.

Bolsen is right, the difference in power will be non-existant.

Quit hiding behind your false reasoning.
