I like both styles, straight and angled.
However, I hate the angled look on our USDM Evo bumpers. I had a HKS 30th Anniversary and the angle with the bubble butt bumper made it look like retarded. Now I've got a Fujitsubo RM01A with a straight exit and it looks awesome.
If our cars had came with the Evo 7 rear bumper, angled exit exhausts would look
But the round bumper of our cars make it look 
I would change to the Evo 7 or 9 rear bumper for ab angled exit but I won't want to lose the rear crash beam.
O yea, and the Fujitsubo has more bends than the HKS but it makes only 1-2whp less...you WILL NOT feel the difference and I'm running HKS 264 cams. It also doesn't matter if there's a neck-down or if the piping is 2.96in instead of 3.00 like how some people on here like to complain about.........
Unless you're going for 500+hp it all doesn't matter.

I take offense to the "angeled = rice" comment.
I do not have anything that is NOT FUNCTIONAL or "PLAYED OUT", but somehow my angeled HKS Carbon TI is rice???
How is something that is functional, expensive, and well-suited to our pothole laden roads be considered "rice"?

just to clear things up a bit, but i didn't want to imply that less bends = more power.. especially that ONE less bend so far down the pipe near the muffler. anyway, that is the THEORY behind the angled exhausts. dang, things get way outta hand so fast.. haha
