Pre evo 8 model reliability?

hey everyone...

was wondering how well the evo's before our beloved us evo8 came to us are doing? 03's are still fairly new, and i doubt we have any out there >100000 miles that hasn't been beat on like a stepchild...so, the ultimate q is - do evo's age well?

I'm sure most evo's get "beat on like a stepchild" why else would you buy an evo?

understandable - the usual maintenance that needs to be done on a car (i know evo's are much higher to maintain - but we both knew what we were getting into with this relationship!) - but i got my evo for the love of it...it's a dd and baby-ridden, takes to me to work on time (neva late since i got the evo!)...but probably is gonna see minimal track time...just wanna know...

I think if you own an EVO and are happy with it .. you will go to great lengths to do what ever it takes to make it run like the day you took it home
