look at the evo and sti 0-100 times in the link below... see how fast an evo goes from 60mph to 100mph? takes like 8.4 seconds

http://motortrend.com/roadtests/seda...rx/index9.html

now look at the cobalt and srt-4 times in this link... see how fast an srt-4 goes from 60-100? 7.8 seconds

http://motortrend.com/roadtests/seda...ks/index5.html

now ymmv...it's just some info I came across.

My buddy with an 04 with catback, mbc, bov, intake, ic pipe, fuel pump, no tune went from a roll against some mopar stage two or something. I was right behind them and they went from about 35 or so mph. My friend with the evo pulled on him at the end, but then they had to slow down. Stock for stock, the Evo is faster and quicker than the SRT-4.

I think if the Cobalt and SRT4 can hang with a 30k+ car..ours are overpriced.

Either way I'd stil take my EVO over either.

i had an srt-4 , never had a problem with traction in mine. I got beat at the track a couple times by Evo's & STi's. After that I brought the Syclone in the next week to the track and got revenge. I like both Evo's and Cars, but If i had to choose....It would be the Evo fo sho.

I know, I know, I still think evo's are the ****... I just wanted to give some credit to the srt-4.

After having a modded srt-4, the evo was kind of disappointing on the freeway. I had to get cams put in asap. Now everything is gravy..

Yeah I think since my EVO is faster than an M3 theyre overpriced If you determine a car's value by its straight-line performance your a moron.... for the record I hope you were kidding.

I can say that i have been beaten by 2 SRT-4's from a roll. My car is stock all but a HKS CB and they were running almost no exhaust and maybe a few minor mods, but they got me....but from a launch it is a different story.....but that will not matter in the near future cause a complete GT35R build @ AMS is coming so i wanna see them keep up with that, LOL

i have never seen an srt run better then low 13's (even stage 3 with over 360 hp).... How do you lose from a roll? From my experience evos can beat n srt from a dig, a roll, or nething else for that matter.... If you lose to one stock for stock then you need to learn how to drive, because that is pathetic.

Somewhat..

I do think our cars are marginally over priced though. I think they could easily knock off like 3-5 grand. That's my opinion though. I wouldn't have minded having a different interior...and I'm sure most owners would agree.
