are you done arguing? I mean, this is a mitsu board, not being rude... but arguing with evos, ralliart owners is pretty worthless, ull never win... its like talking to a brick wall.

Now, the evo might be just a lancer but the SRT4 is just a neon. The SRT4 has more similarities to the neon, then the evo has to the lancer. Oveall the lancer is better than a neon and overall the evo is better than an SRT4.

 

How rigged is that video! engine shot of the stock evo, and of course no shot of the neon. That video proves nothing

Srt's are fast, just not my cup of tea. If you love to drag like me, Evo is the obvious choice. Some people grow out of street racing there neon's and lancer's.

I guess youve run into near stock EVOs that youve beat with your MODDED SRT. Wow congrats. Come to my town and youll get walked on day and night by the EVOs, including mine. There are around 5 local SRT4s, all modded, one has Stg2, open exhaust and bigger FMIC. I walked it easy from a 3rd gear roll. All the others Ive walked on as well. Not even competition. This was before my FMIC/piping. Dont act like I have a lot of mods either. For ****s and giggles I raced the fast one fromt he line without launching and still had 5-6 cars on it by 120. I dont wanna hear how fast your SRT4 is because its not, relax, you drive a Neon with a strong motor, thats it. Get over it and stop trying to play the SRT for more than what it is.

Please go back to your juvenile forums where you can trash talk EVOs all you want. Go tell all the other 16 y/os about it too. Not 1 person I know would pick an SRT4 over an EVO, not even the people I know with SRT4s... go figure

Yeah, I get beat all the time by 11-sec Neons. They're all over the place!! My 12.1 just isn't fast enough. Stock cams and stock turbo just aren't getting the job done...

Whoa ANOTHER SRT-4 vs EVO thread.

 

I'm not bragging about $hit, I've posted nothing but straight up facts. Take it for what you want, blow it out of context & put words in my mouth. It's all good, I don't give a $hit either way. I just find it funny how big headed you guys are about your Lancers... I like them, they are fun as hell to drive & I have a slightly modded Evo RS at my disposal. Just because I didn't buy one, don't assume I couldn't afford one & classify me in the catagory of your friends with SRT-4's who wish they had Evo's.. I'm not them.. If I weren't getting married & saving for a house, I may have picked one up.. Who knows?

Like I said before, the 4g63 has been around forever. If you can't give props where they are due, it's no biggie. But, you can't argue with the fact the SRT-4 has potential & we've put down some pretty decent whp #'s in the short time they've been in production.

Very true. Evo owners have huge ego's and they would never admit that a neon is even in the same league as them. Closed minded if you ask me. Although there a few here that actually acknowledge that there are other great performance cars besides their own.

Although the base Neon and the SRT-4 LOOK similar they are VERY different. The SRT-4 has a different motor, tranny, exhaust, struts/springs, k-member, control arms, knuckles, wheels/tires, calipers, rotors, brake pads, hood, front/rear bumpers, side sills, front seats, instrument panel.

None of the parts I just mentioned come on the Neon.
