It's BS... you already pay one delivery fee, you shouldn't have to pay another. If they want to sell you the car, they'll manage to get it there for you.

Do any of you work for free? Did any of you get your Evo for free? The trucking company doesn't work for free either. Be realistic, if you drive the distance to pick up your new MR and you hit a deer on the way back, it will cost you way more than $800.00. If you pay the fee and the trucking company hits a deer or damages the car on the way back you pay for nothing. It costs over $200.00 each car to transport it 1500 miles, and that is if all of the cars are mine to sell. Take 10 cars x $200 each and add that up. If it is just one car it gets more expensive. I paid over $500.00 to have a car that was bought from another dealer 550 miles away. Diesel fuel is nearly as expensive as gas and the driver doesn't work for free either.

I work for free living in Florida, you get paid in sunshine in this state.

Yeah I came across the same thing trying to get the so called Last GG MR in Florida which happens to be at Crown Mitsubishi in St Pete and they are selling it for $40,000, and they even said they WILL not trade it through the dealers. they want to sell it to a customer, and the sad thing is, someone will pay $40,000 for it.

I absolutely refuse to pay that kind of mark-up on the car when I know how much the Invoice is. I have waited since 2003 to get an Evo and it isn't going to kill me now to wait for the IX. I know one thing I must have excellent will power, I have test driven 2 evos and I absolutely love the car and I did come really close to getting an MR with the 0% financing.

Lokey Mitsu in Clearwater said that there are Approx 10 Mrs left in the whole of the US (whether that is correct or not I don't know) they said that in order to get me a MR they know of one on the East cost of Florida (somewhere like Daytona) and 2 in North Carolina, I don't know if those are GG or not they also quoted me $800 - $1000 to ship it to them in Clearwater. I also got quoted a really crappy price for my trade in, just so they can make money off me somewhere on my purchase, so that I am selling privately, so that I don't have to deal with that crap lingering over my head. Soon enough I will be part of the Cult, you will be seeing pics of my black evo IX MR in the not too distant future.
I have just received my Evolution IX trunk badge, I just need the car.

I know...you would think someone who could afford to purchase a $30,000 car would know how to spell Mishegun.

I bought my car through Carmax. The car was in San Antonio and it cost $250 to ship it to Dallas. That $250 went to the cost of the car. That was a 4-5 hour drive on a flatbed.

Burning money
I didn't know it would be offered in Graphite grey.
that would really screw all those guys who bought the Evo VIII MR edition in Graphite grey, I personally don't think they are going to offer it in Graphite grey, they have to atleast keep it consistant with the colours, being as MMNA decided to change the trim specs to RS GSR MR instead of like the rest of the world with the RS GT GSR.
but as usual MMNA will screw that up also.
