The EVO is indeed a chick magnet around these areas. Many girls around here are auto savy and know exactly what the EVO is and what a regular Lancer is. Some dont, but by the looks, they can easily tell my car looks 10x better than any regular Lancer or OZ. (The color, drop, and Volks help too ). Oh, and my gf likes my car better than her dads G35 and my moms Benz (which I drive here and there).
By definition a poser is trying to be something your not, whether is be by the clothes you wear, the way you talk or your car.
IMO, I dont lke the way my car looks wingless, I think the wing sets it apart and looks right considering my wide body/stance of the car and big wheels/tires, huge brakes, etc. Here is a pic of mine. If you wanted your car to look like an EVO your right, youd have to spend thousands upon thousands on every body part, including wheels/tires, fenders both front and back, bumpers, wing, hood, etc. Would you really do that though?

i guess the Tuner scene is a whole lot different from what it is here, and ya'll do over there, but then again thats probably the reason why most of the tuner companies are stationed here in socal.
witht he whole poser thing im gonna hav e to agree with you when it comes to badges, thats something i would say something about, because at that point your labeling it as another thing. so ok.

...Anyways, putting an evolution badge on your lancer is wrong, a spoiler is not... especially when mitsu can put it on as a factory option.

wow... this thread is way out of hand. I never thought of so much hatred between evo and lancer owners, I always thought that all evo and lancer owners would get along to some degree because of the close relations, i guess i was wrong. the last 3 pages of this thread is just so...so... pathetic! All you guys have mitsu cars... all you guys have great looking cars... good luck to all the tunning and what u want to put on your cars...

they actually said they wouldnt want an evo and would rather have their lancer.
its always boggled my mind at least... why would you want a car that looks fairly the same without the turbo and handling?

anyways its not that we think our sh*t doesnt stink its just... about the facts... the lancer is slow, its not meant to be a performance car..its a sporty looking economy car..... so why waste your money making it look fast when you could spend a little more and get an evo?
