as far as vortex gen? it's a vortex gen for the EVO, it was designed to work on the EVO with EVO wing, i don't get why lancer guys bring it up to try to prove something. it's offered on the MR because MR is just considered so exclusive, just as it has aluminum roof, although swapping that part into GSR would be a lot more involved. if it's offered on the EVO then it should be swapped into OTHER EVO's, as long as the owner doesn't stick an MR badge on his GSR. evo9 bumpers? that's a lil different, i personally don't care for them, BUT, they're still made for EVO and EVO8-9 have basically EXACT bodies, so why not swap? don't compare it to swapping EVO parts into LANCER => EVOtoEVO is not = EVOtoLANCER.
i'm sure someone's gonna start to bash me for some stupid lil thing, although if u noticed i did NOT bash anyone, just stated the FACTS. i, for one, don't have my head up my bunghole because i like many different cars. i wanted to upgrade my teg with a turbo and other mods to make it fast and handle even better, but decided that i should just buy evo straight out.

Yeah the EVO wing is a factory option on 2006 MODELS... not pre 2006.... which is what is out NOW. So when you bought your car.. it WAS NOT an option! Thanks for pointing that out, I thought you meant it was an option on the 2005s

i have respect for ppl who go and beat other cars at the track instead of talking about how fast a highly modded lancer would be and whether or not it'll beat a stock evo. actions speak louder than woids. if u disagree with that, then i dunno what to tell ya. i never said i have no respect for ppl who don't race legally. "losers whine about trying their best, winners go home and F the prom-queen" from movie The Rock.
seats and steering swap into lancer is totally understandable because they r excellent. although sometimes u can get a better aftermarket deal for those types of parts and with that u'll also get a unique combination of parts on UR car.
i look at exterior parts swapping in a similar way as generally changing exterior parts on ANY car. i believe if u r going to spend the money on exterior mods, it should at least be more or less unique and not going to make it look like something else. judging by ur name, u want it to look like evo, so that's ur preference, personally i won't like it because it's not unique (yes i'm picky, sue me

to be honest i think i have a pretty unique car,
1) its not another civic
2) something on it always changing, pics to be updated tomorrow(hopefully)
3) i got the evo8 wing awhile ago because a lot of people had the EVo7 wing and still do, a friend of mine just a happened to be trading in his black evo, and so i took his wing for mine...and placed it on there for awhile,
other than that constructive critisizm, is good, but when people take it to the point of bashing with out knowing anything, then it steps up to a different level...
the thing that got me irrate was when all these new evo owner coming in here, trying to state false facts. so i decided to do a little history lesson, and when they some back still not learning form what i posted before, then it just gets dumb.
i think like 2 or 3 idiots posted that the EVO was around before the lancer? and that they have always modled the lancer of the EVO....wow...
or when people try to say that a certain part is not a factory option, when it clearly is...
or when they say that this site in an evolution forum, without even knoking the history of the site(is just amazing)( :claps hand: for the newb that said that)
or when people try to say that a ralliart will need hedwork after 6lbs of boost? WTF? do you really think people in the world are as dumb as you?
Its a Lancer Community, a lot of us look up to you all and liek to take advice as things go on, but one reason i stay the hell away from evo forums is because of uneducated people that like to run their mouth. not every is out there to race, andi dont get why its so hard to fathom that people would prefer to work on their lancer than an evo...or that in parts of this country there are lancers that will give an evo a run for its money, isnt that the whole point of being a tuner, it not about who spent more on their car and blah blah blah.
OK pictures help! lol. For the record, I never made any statements regarding this being an "evolution sight" or the EVO coming before the Lancer, or anythng about Ralliart turbos. I only commented on this thread about an EVO wing on a Lancer.
I mentioned the thing about the 6psi and the car I found was only doing 8 that isn't that big of a diffrence. Most non turbo cars do need the head rebuilt to maintain some reliablility, but maybe the ralliart doesn't. Oh yeah and the kid asked this question original in the evo general forum maybe that is where your getting the '"evo sight thing from".
