Cool What Deal on your EVO did you get?

Well I had a Scion TC with TRD Exhaust and some other interior Ammenties CF Dash, Shift K, Pedals Etc. I later found out I was being jacked on my payments cause I didn't know I was financed with Compound Interest.

So...

Scion financed: 22600 about Feb 2005 with Gap, Vehicle Insurance, Theft Protection

Cancelled Theft and Extended Insurance and got back roughly 2200 back on my principal owned

Paid 3400 in payments. So I calculated I owed about 17000.

turns out I owed 18500!!! and I had acquired 1000+ in excess interest for that short 6 month period. I said F*** that time to get a new car. The EVO was inline to be my next car but I just fast forwarded my decision.

Dealer: Fountain Automall:

Traded the Scion owing 18500 roughly

Black EVO, with SSL, extended 10 YR 100000 Warranty (1300), Gap (got it for $250), Theft (300) 37000. 5000 Down.

Financed at 72months 2.9% APR $560 Dollar payment. SIMPLE INTEREST LOAN!!!

Didnt want 60 months at 0% APR cause the payment was too much.

But I plan to cancel the extended warranty and save the 1200 and just enjoy my EVO.

Fountain wasn't too bad imho.

I just bought an EVO and got a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty for free. I think you might have been scammed. Look into it

If you read the post correctly you would have seen I had almost 5 K in negative equity. Secondly if i you knew what compound interest was you would understand my position. Thirdly, If I decided to keep the scion each additional month I would accumlate an addtional 1000 or on my balance. I didn;t want to refinance either, when i knew i was looking for an evo soon too.
