Unbolt the intake system from the scoop to the throttle body, being especially careful with the MAS/MAF, put your intake in its place, voila!

Yeah...over simplified maybe, but you're probably over thinking it. It's really that simple.

EDIT: Movin' to the Newbie Forum.

If you've got a socket set and about an hour, you should be golden. A pic would help if you really need specific advise, but I swear to you it's very simple and you shouldn't have any difficulty unless the intake is booty or you're SERIOUSLY scared to work on things.

Take a couple of shots of your unit with a digital camera and post the pix to this thread, then PM me and I'll walk you through it.

Hope you get this in time. Go to www.knfilters.com Find the short ram intake they make, and then find the instructions. They have detailed info, with photos in a pdf file. Can't go wrong with that, it should be about the same.

For the most part it's just a matter of finding the right socket to remove the bolts on the stock air box. You do need an impact tool of some sort to unhook the MAS. Unless you're very careful, I wouldn't suggest doing it with a regular socket wrench cuz it'll just snap the plastic housing. I did that with one of mine since I failed to follow the directions...
