EVO IX Fuel Economy?

There is a picture of a new EVO IX on a closed thread and I noticed that the Fuel Ecomony guide listed 19/25 MPG. I was under the inpression that the IX was going to get 21/31 MPG. I think my VIII was listed at 19/26. What is going on here????

If you look at the figures at media.mitsubishi.com it should be getting better than 20/30

I can't believe it! I swear to God it was 20/30 last time I checked! They must have changed it! What a bunch of creeps!

Seriously, how can they publish bogus figures and then change them and not make any sort of note!

They changed it. It was 31 MPG HWY.. I was going to get one because of that. Now I can not justify it. This is very Bad for the IX. Here are the VIII Specs.

Technical data, features, options and other equipment listed in this document are based on the latest information available at the time of release and are subject to change without notice. (This is how) well I guess this settles the MIVEC VS 4G63 Debate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! MIVEC IS FOR SMOG Folks!!!!!!!!!

Did your mommys not hug you guys enough as children?

This is a performance vehicle. If you want good gas mileage, go buy a Prius, hug a tree, and stop posting worthless crap here.

Last time I checked 91 was going for $3.15 per gallon! If you can have your cake and eat it too, I think that was something to get excited about!!!!!! (Mommy's Boy!!!!)
