Goodby .:R32, Hello EVO

Well fellas, the time has come to trade in the 'ol 2004 VW R32 for an EVO VIII. The reasons:

1) I need more power
2) VW + mods = breaking the bank
C) high milage on the R (did 44,000 this year)
4) more power please

Dont get me wrong, the R was a phenominal vehicle, I think if I was 20 years
older if would be the perfect car for me, but for now I'm a slave to performance.
Anywho, just wanted to say whats up, and I'll throw some pics of the old ride up
for sh*ts and grins. Dont have the EVO as of today, should be clearing up the
deal on her this week. Should be a Black '05 new, but I'll throw some pics up of
that when she arrives, ya know, incase you guys forgot what EVO's look like

The old ride: (I'd resize but, too bad)

mods: intake/chip/electric exhaust cut-out/sprigs/F&R sways/F lower tie bar/
R upper tie bar/OZ SL wheels/yadda yadda tint yadda exterior stuff yadda/
13.65 1/4 mile @ 99 mph

New ride: ..pics en route

Yeah, that ^^^^^ had to be really annoying. Having those mods while being half a second and 5mph slower than a stock 05 Evo would **** me off, too.

Do the same mods on your new Evo, and you'll be capable of 12.65 at 109...

If I have her, hell yea. She wont be broken in yet though, 53 miles on the dash I'm working between 2 dealerships, both want 31,249 for the car and I'm haggling trade-in value on mine. The high milage is killing me but I should be signing something today/tomorrow.. Are the tri-states at bristol?

Talked to a guy on the freeway with a Vortech and FMIC R32. Said he put down 302whp. Not too bad for 91, although he said it cost him mucho dinero.

Those are some nice pics, man... but you made a good choice. I wasn't too impressed with the R32 I drove. Like you said, not enough *****.
