not enough clear in the paint. The red and yellow seem to have the most problems. My buddy with a red one power washed his car at a car wash and the paint came off the front bumber probably inch long inch high. My other buddy was buffing his evo and a little paint came off man was he pissed, and hes been buffing for 5 years never had any paint come off ever.

i have red and havent had a problem yet. But my buddy has a black one and his paint is chipping. His problem is that it honestly looks like they only put one or two coats of pain on it from the factory.

Wait about 2 years and see if you feel the same.

You would think that for how much these cars cost Mitsu would use better paint or add more of it!!

I think so, but mitsu always finds away to cut cost and thus is why they are in the whole more then any other auto company, but i love my evo so i guess i will just deal with it.

My paint sucks.

It's so thin that I dont ever drive it...trying to avoid more chips.

My mirrors are pink.

A leaf falling from a tree will scratch it.

I am tempted to repaint the whole car, but I'm kind of saving the respray until after the APR kit... (That I might never buy)

honestly there are many threads here on this topic why do you still want to make a new one and ask about it?
