At one point Mitsu. had 1G Eclipse AWDs on the market and Galant VR4s. The GVR4s were limited production and I believe sold fairly well. Even today they are still difficult to find and easy to sell.

 

as much as i love evos, id have to go with the gsx just because i rather have doors instead of 4. plus you wouldnt have people tryin to bum rides all the time, nobody wants to sit in the back of an eclipse

 

So true! My friends fought so many times throughout my 1G and 2G years. They would always beg to take one of my cars, then change their minds if they had to ride in back.

 

Hell, I took the back seats out of my 2G. They were practically useless anyway.

i think it looks a little crazy.... but at the same time it looks meen as f***! intimidating!! but you know if they come out with it, it prolly won't look like that. it'll be much milder most likely.

 

Don't get either buy a Supra in stead of the evo. Better resale, more power potential granted it sucks in the snow but who cares with the extra money you save buy a 1g awd DSM an have both.

If that Eclipse concept makes it to production similar to how they show it now, I will trade in my evo9mr the first day they go on sale. At least when it comes to "sport cars", 2door is always > than 4door. And plus, I miss my 98GSX

Actually, with all that carbon fiber (hood, roof, ground effects, even the wheels), and the smaller engine / drive train, I would put it close to 3000 lbs, which is almost in Evo territory.

Besides, what other AWD 2 door coupe do you know of that can produce over 400hp?
