New Gsx Or Evo 10
id take the new gsx, regardless of what they throw in the evo evo, the new one still looks hideous. i mean im content with my 05 evo 8 but if the situation would arise that i either had the money or just wanted to get something new definetly the gsx.

As far as horsepower and displacement goes I think that is a bit off as the current EVO produces 286HP which gives 143 per liter (2.4L at 325HP would give around 135HP per liter which would be kind of a step back but I guess it would improve the reliability of engine a bit). I also heard that the new engine will have flat torque.

Why not? Subaru offers 2.5l engines in their Impreza line yet they have a 2.0l version WRC car.
2.4l engine would offer greater power potential and potentialy better reliability (as the larger displacement will handle the horsepower with more ease and engine will be less stressed) so it's all good.
Actually in my perfect world I wouldn't mind having a V6 3.0l -like EVO, that would make the car much more reliable with less service intervals while providing adequate power. I see nothing wrong with EVO becoming more civilized, maybe it will even help Mitsubishi make some decent profit for a change. As long as the car will be engineered well, light, powerful, and handle like nothing else in it's class while also looking good and having a civilized interior I am more than all for it.

Well..... I still have my 2003 and its running like a top. I have an almost overwelming desire to purchase a 2006 because I am ready to upgrade and would like to have a mivec 4G63 to play with.
I am waiting on a few things. The first is the SE EVO9. If they release something that truely makes me hard I'll get one. If not, I'm still waiting to see what the EVO10 will have to offer.
Even if the 10 isn't as good for the tuners, I'm sure once the 10 is released many poser 9 owners will be upgrading and I'll be able to find one cheap.
I'm in a holding pattern for now.
