Well, you can go wrong with Works if you don't have endless money to burn. Nice parts, but the prices are unjustifiable. That mod list above alone is probably $1600, if not more, and all of those individually-listed parts are just one exhaust with a $400 o2 housing. That's like 30-35whp at most. If you want to know how to turn $1600 into 70whp over stock with $300-400 leftover for installation or other parts, let me know...

You will need to check your oil level. During break in it consumes oil(at least mines did). My car only has 4300 miles and I did my first oil change at around 2k because I noticed it was consuming oil but after the oil change it hasn't consumed any oil since.

Well, for an VIII, it's $1480 including installation to get 300whp (60-70whp over stock) with Warrtalon Stg 2 ($1280 for parts/tuning). For the IX, though, it costs less, because you don't need a BOV or fuel pump. You can make 60-70whp over stock with just a TBE, Dynoflash, MBC, and boost gauge. That's less than $1100...

Yes. Buy your mods, then send your ECU to Al with the list of mods, preferred boost level (21psi), and daily octane use.

Notice that I ran my 12.26 on 93oct with a mail-in Dynoflash (stock cams).

Call Buschur directly and ask them to see if you can work something out - it's also in their interest to show before/after gains, especially if you get the Buschur TBE and Dynoflash.

click on the link in my sig - that's the timeslip with the full breakdown including 60'. Also, notice my race gas run says WT2 (Warrtalon Stage 2) + SAFC. That's to show that I fine-tuned myself for race gas with my SAFC. Does my sig make more sense now?

Dang, another full blown convo going on under the radar in my own thread no less !! Anyways, looks like I still need the mbc and reflash and I'll be good to go. Prolly will do the mbc, intake, and then bov before doing the reflash.
