Simple question about EVO RS

Hi guys. the RS in the EVO 9, what does it stand for? I understand that MR stands for Mitsubishi Racing.

rally sport, or something to that effect, basically its the Mitsu designation for base model, they have been using it for years, eclipse, and so on.
