Why go with stock pads when you can get better performing pads for a fraction of the cost?

You can get a front and rear set of Hawk HPS from Raceshopper.com for a lot less than you'll pay for OEM pads.

They will all carry pads, you just need to decide what you're intending to use them for (road course, autoX, street driving). Every manufacturer will make pads for different usages. Some manufacturers to look for are: Hawk, Ferrodo, Project Mu, Endless.

go with Ferrodo 2500 pads. They may cost more than the Hawks and project Mu but they perform better.

You can't suggest a pad without knowing what he is going to use them for, what if this is a track only car? The 2500s would not be the best choice by far...

Ok. let me re-phrase.

i wanted a set of stock pads, because i don't want the MFers to squeel everytime i brake for a redlight. i thought almost all aftermarket pads were loud.

i drive the car everyday, and track it(road course) occasionally. i liked the stock pads, if i can get something just as quiet that brakes just as good for a fraction of the cost...i would love them. if i can get something that is just as quiet, and brakes BETTER for the same price or less id go for those too.

now, that being said....what are my best choices?
