Hey, my names Mike, I'm 23 and looking to buy once I save up some money. Getting married in Aug otherwise I would have enough for a handsome downpayment right now. Hopefully next year sometime I will have enough. I already have the future wife convinced evo is the way to go... "Those WRX's have all those rounder corners and that new front grill looks kinda weird", now shes all about the evo. Looking at a IX not sure about a MR, who knows, if the price is right, I'd be stupid to pass up a deal on a MR. I don't know a whole lot about cars but I am working on it and I joined this forum so I am sure that will help with any questions I have. My buddy just picked up a WRX so I will probably help him upgrade it and learn a bit along the way. Seems like a great forum, I joined a while ago and have just been reading up but figured I should introduce myself. See ya guys/girls around.

 

Let me be the first to say welcome, man. Don't know if you've read the thread or not, but it looks like there aren't going to be any '07 IXs, so you may want to move your time frame up to the end of this year if looking to buy new.

 

Yea, I wasn't aware of that but I am not sure if I was looking to buy brand new. I might look for a year old car possibly, we will see when the time comes. I will have to do some searching first but I take it that the next car out will be the X in 08? Thanks for the welcome and the info.
