Im new here
hey guys, im new on this site. just lookin to browse around and learn other peoples opinions about things when it comes to evos. I got an evo IX and before i start doing work to it i wanna get opinions from different people. dont want to end up gettin something and it be ****ty. well n e ways i look forward to talkin with all yall so ill cya when i cya.
Great choice on the IX - you have what we consider a supercar. The 05 Evo VIII was a GREAT car, but your IX is just on a different level.
When you're ready to mod, let me know. I can help make you fast as hell for very little money spent while retaining perfect drivability and reliability.

congrats on the new car. You are going to enjoy it. There is a huge amount of information on this site. Just remember a turboback exhaust and re-flash do amazing things for the 06.

Intake wont make you slower than stock if your tune is programmed for it, which I assume it is. It will add a little, just usually not enough to justify the price for intakes.
