S4 is a hog!!

I tell you, I was probably getting about 13 mpg city and 19 highway. That's without even running it that hard. I never got 250 miles per tank, and cost was about $400 a month on gas.

I traded my 04 S4 for the Evo because I did drive it hard and I averaged 7 mpg.Thats 100 miles per tank@17 gallons. My Evo 8 driving hard I would get about 120 miles per tank but never put more than 11 gallons in it.I just traded my 8 for the 9 and it does about 140 a tank and this is driving pretty hard in the city only.Highway it does much better.I love the 9.I recommend it.Audi's are classy and Evo's are FUN.Just depends on what you want.

Definitely want some fun!!

Some of my friends are trying to get me on the local track. S4 would have been fun out there, but at almost 4000 lbs, that's a lot of weight going into the corners; even with AWD and 345 hp. Everything I've heard; not much can hang with the EVO IX MR. I have a few Subi friends that have been talking trash. I don't think they'll be talking much when I get my Mitsu. I have a feeling I'll be getting the IX MR. I just don't think I can wait for the X with only my A3 in the household. We really need 2 cars. Mine will be the fun one!
