Sorry about the defensive attitude skill, I do see your point, but you would have to be misreading the info to get it. The problem is that looking at the information given I see no problem at all with his time. Maybe more experience with rwd vehicles I guess.

After reading through this thread im really dissapointed. I myself have not owned an LSx powered car but have many friends that do and the times/traps this guy is running is right on par for a mild LSx car with good setup and driver. As for the talk about the et vs trap and hp/trap....that stuff isnt as reliable as you think. Anyone willing to come to SC i can personally show show you me doing an 1/8 mile run at say 8 flat while trapping 110+. Another thing is the converter...to these kinds of car it almost amplifies the results of many bolt-on mods. My GN stock ran 8.9@76mph...after TA48 turbo,50#inj,chip,CAI,fuel system and alky kit at the same boost i ran 8.6@81 Two weeks later after putting in a Fuddle 3200 stall i went 7.4@98 with a 1.62 60' time. Just do a little more research on the actual performance of the car before telling someone they're lying because the numbers arent always right.

Update on my friend's evo. Installed the stock BOV on the car and after a few startups and driving, his SES light went away. The BOV that was on before was a Forge and the intake hose was blocked off.
