I don't understand this thread. I can very plainly hear my turbo spool with the stock air box. I always thought it was loud actually. It definately turns a lot of heads when driving by people and then the APS BOV goes off and everyone turns and looks. And the car is said to be quiet with both the stock air box and that bov but I think it is just right. Loud enough to enjoy but not too ricey or annoying. My friend has the Injen intake and I drove his car last week and damn that thing is really loud. Another friend had a bone stock 05 MR until recently and I could hear him spooling while a few cars back from me and he has the stock air box too.

 

A soapbox isnt a insult. Its a slang reference kinda like when someone says stop sitting on your "highhorse." I dunno if you have heard of that one before either.

It is a reference to someone who thinks they are above everyone else and that they know all. I guess it could be a insult. It is definitely a derogatory statement.

Feel free to provide us with more significant information regarding your comment about the T25BB outflowing the 18G.

A T25BB is just a market denomination and small upgrade to the already existing T25 and it flows 405cfm max. You mentioned that the T25BB outflows the 18G, I am assuming you are referring to the Mitsubishi 18G, if that is the case the 18G flow around 605CFM.

You can run an intake fine, you just need to be tuned for it.

 

Yeah I know admad doesn't know much to begin with. The T25 is about the smallest you can get as far as turbos are concerned. And the 18G is pretty massive. I have not a clue how someone could say that a t25 can outflow the 18g? Then he says he wants to hear the wooshing sound hahaha. This is just a funny thread.

 

DEPENDS ON THE INTAKE BUD. However, most intakes even when tuned still runs like crap.
