Negative, nor by the size nor by the flow the T25BB is ahead of the 18G. The 18 G are big in size definately not as big as GT40 and all that but they are very big.

The originator of the topic hasn't provide any significant prove that a T25BB(variant of the T25) out flows a 18G. I happen to had a 18G on one of my cars in the past and know exactly how big they are..

I don't know why you have to try and put me down with saying stuff like "It is obvious to me and everyone else here you have alot to learn. " I bet it makes you feel like a real man sitting behind your computer screen. I mean, we all drive EVO's, I thought we were all on the same team. You could wish me luck on my project, but intead you come across like a reall dick just so you know, thanks a lot.
Thats nice that you overspent to get the same dyno results if not lower. I havent met one person on here with the same parts that I have that are running the same et's or traps. I tell ya what put the same mods I have and run and let me see your timeslip. Also since you have so much money how come you haven't dynoed the car yet? I dont have to try and put you down cause you do that very well yourself. I just state the obvious. Does it make me feel like a real man? Not really. We all do have evos. And we are on the same team. I thought you would have enough maturity to actually learn something instead of being ignorant like alot of other people. However, le tme boosten your esteem here. I was worse than you when I first came on here and warrtalon will tell ya. I was the biggest skeptic(for obvious reasons)and I also didn't know much about the evo and its capabilities and the right mod paths. However, it really takes someone to listen to the right people and see what has been proven time and time again to really have a found understanding of what you need to know.

And I am telling you, unless you are going to go with a upgraded turbo kit a intake will decrease your power and make your car run like crap same goes for a vta bov. Now there are a few intake systems that have been proven to work well and give you more hp BUT that is only when tuned correctly for it and it only gives you a net gain of around 3or less hp depending on the intake system.

I am by no means trying to be an a$$ but I am trying to save you from making the same mistakes many other people have made because they want to be ignorant. Please dont fall into that group. Now since you have alot of money I would really impress upon you to take your car to either ams or buschur and have them do the car. I just hope I can get you to make the right decisions here.

I guess I like taking risks. I don't like joining the bandwagon and doing what everyone else does. I plan on taking my car to AMS to get my tune, I am not ready to get it dyno tuned yet because I don't have all the parts installed that I plan on having before the tune. If I learn the hard way, then thats my problem isn't it, but I had fun doing it, and its MY hobby. I have had good luck with Perrin parts so far and that's why I am using them. Their exhaust is very high quality with perfect fitment and sounds awesome. It is a full 3" all stainless steel so what more could you want. I have their intercooler and intake on order as well. I know the posts about Perrin products on EVO's are very few around this message board, but I have done some research and a few posts that I have read seem very promising. Anyways, thanks for your help, and I should have my car ready to tune within the next month, depending on if AMS has an opening, and I will be eagerly waiting to put out some high number with what I'm working with.

HAHAHA yeah I know. The reason why I do this cause he saved me from making mistakes with my evo. So I figured the right thing to do is save others as well. You know give back to the community what it has given me.

I really don't know why you think I'm throwing money away. You still never said anything on my post about the intake giving 300 HP without a TBE, and it was by Al at Dynoflash so I don't think he would BS, Just because you're not a fan of Perrin and have no experience with it doesn't mean that you have to try and bring me down. I told you this is MY hobby and MY car, I appreciate you trying to help, but I really don't see what you're getting at just because I don't use some other brand. BTW what brand are you using for your exhaust, you don't even say, so that makes me wonder. The only reason I chimed in on this post was because I was trying to say that an intake WITH a tune is fine. I guess no one else can back me up here. Anyways, I don't think we'll every get along on this topic so I'll just have to wait until I get my car tuned and then i'll have all the proof I need.

hey so the big question is to skilmatic. you said countless times here that some intakes with the right tune do indeed increase hp.. the question is which intakes are those that have been proven to put out gains with a good tune.... and for dan.......im with ya on the perrin exhaust. i jsut got the whole TBE installed from perrin with cat delete pipe. very impressed with sound in garage (havent drove it yet on highway). gettin a vishnu ecutek flash tuesday and also installed new o2 housing. will put results up and decide wether intake is necessary. dont really think ill get one those since i plan on upgrading the turbo

How am I bringing you down? You made 300whp with just an intake and a flash? I call BS. This has nothing to do with my fan status of perrin. This has to do with you making mistakes with the mod path you want to take.

However, do I really have to say my brand of mods or can you at least maybe figure that out on your own?

Also no one will back you cause that isnt entirely correct. Not all intakes will give you power. Now if you were a little more preciese in that statement I wouldn't have corrected you. However, your original statement was different from this one.

Lastly, just go and do your project and let us know how it goes. Good luck

I didn't make 300hp, yet! Remember, I have't taken my car to the dyno yet. I am talking about the dynograph Al posted about the perrin intake and just a few other mods. It seems high to me, so that's why I was asking. Its in the link, here it is again:
