EVO 9 MR Break in + others

I am about to get my EVO 9. Just want to get some info. I have been in the DSM community for may years and have a +400WHP (on pump gas) 1996 GS-T so I know a bit about the 4G63T but I bought it second hand. Just a few questions:

1. What is the orginal oil that the dealer puts in?
2. When should the 1st and 2nd oil change be done?
3. I have the Quaife Front LSD, ACT 2900 & ACT Flywheel - should I install straight away or after the break in period?

1. Mobil 1 Fully synthetic 10w-30
2. Some people change out the first oil at 1k the book doesnt specify so just do it at 1k-3k dont beat on it break it in easy not just for the motor but the AWD system
3. I would break it in first with all the factory components then after that first oil change or so happy modding

Just follow the manual when you buy the car, all of the information is in there. It has service intervals and tells you when you should change your fluids. I changed my first oil at 5k miles and tranny and transfer case oil at 15k miles.

Did my first oil change at 500 miles, 2nd at 1000 miles, 3rd at 2500 miles, and i am now going to do my 4th at 5500 miles. Yes, I know it's a bit much, but oil is cheap and motors are expensive. I tend to err on the REALLY cautious side!!!

Im pretty sure the motor is broken in from the factory otherwise they wouldnt put synthetic in it right from the factory. However, the clutch and tranny etc still need broken in.

I've wondered about that. AFAIK, it's almost impossible to break-in an engine that's filled with a synthetic lubricant and it surprised me to see the Evo filled with Mobil1 on delivery.

However, the clutch and tranny etc still need broken in.
