You based your opinion on a "compartment cover" hmm, whats next the cup holder isnt big enough

 

no i based it on the fact that the car overlyall is not sports car oriented. the clutch feels isn't great either if you read. the whole of the car feels grossly heavy... the brakes also smelled bad after just a short test drive, while admittedly i braked hard, it's pretty apparent that they didn't like being beat. but hey, the same can be said about the evo... just turns out that the feel is more tactile in every aspect for the evo and the s2k.

the compartment covers were just icing on the cake because that's usually the arguement for 350s and g35s.

 

I think its funny that people are worried about the "panty dropping effect" when looking at buying a car..Its just ridiculous. The evo is hella faster than a 350z. It pulls way harder, is easier to get more power out of, corners awesome, and you can take 3 buddies along with you while you blow by the 350. The interior is also nice in the evo, but its not like you need to worry about smudging the leather seats. Hmm recardo and momo, or a 50 yr olds Sunday driver…If you were smart and truly liked fast cars we all know what you will pick. Get the new EVO MR. Oh and about that whole “ricer” thing, Evo’s are not in the least bit ricer, a ricer is a Honda/Acura that is ghettofied with a big wing, fart can, and tons of stickers. cheap car + alot of mods+ the must have aluminum wing= Ricer

The drivetrain on the 350 is awesome... much smoother than the Evo. The clutch felt great on that car too. It revved MUCH FASTER than my Evo does, and was a hell of a lot easier to heel-toe in. The shifter was hella smooth, but you could feel every bit of vibration coming from the tranny. Also, you could here the flywheel chatter a lot.

The brakes on the non-Track/GT Z's do suck ***, but the Brembos are great.

The interior of the Z wasn't the greatest (many Z owners complain on my350.com), but it looked real nice. I personnaly like the interior of the Evo better (the seats, sterring wheel, carbon trim, functionality of a "sports car"... not luxury bull****) but many people like their interiors to look more upscale. My Z never had the problem with the interior compartment doors dancing around, but I know people who've had that problem... it's pretty common (but only for the nav/cubby hole, not the armrest one).

If you seriously need a car to get panties to drop, you suck at life. That's shouldn't even be brought up as a reason to choose a car... this is about performance.

Oh, by the way, unless you have experience with both cars, don't post your worthless bull**** in here. I said the same thing on the Z forum too... it's anoying as hell to see **** like "the Evo look's like ****" or "the 350Z=junk" being the only things posted by some people. Get a life.

 

350=junk haha the only reason for my post was to get a reaction cause i was bored..... but to actually answer this i like the way the 350 looks.. but id just rather have a turbo awd car with no luxury crap......

I have a IX and used to have a VIII. I love my EVO and would never replace it with anything.

I was in the market for a second car and it was between a 350Z and a S2000. If you look at my sig, you can see that I choose a S2000. Now that I have my S2000, I also want a 350Z (dont wanna get rid of the evo or the S2K). I've always like the 350Z and its Torquey RWD platform.

With that said, if you can only have one car, get the EVO, more pratical, faster, better handling. But that doesnt mean that the EVO is the only car everyone should own.
350Z, S2000 and other non-EVO cars are cool, fun rides and should also be played with.

On a side note, RWD cars are harder to drive at the limit then the EVO. Driving an EVO fast can be done by most people, but driving a RWD fast takes skill.

Ok, now your just nitpicking, and if you were appalled by the 350z quality, than you must want to poke your eyes out with bushido blades everytime you step in the horrible quality design by mitsubishi.

You were good up until the bold statement.
Look fangirl, no car is excluded from being rice, that includes the evo. While we may see more hondas of that nature, there are evos out there that are the same if not worse, do not exclude it because it is turbo or dawns a mitsubishi emblem.

 

but... mitsubishi never claimed a great interior... neither did its owners......... it's a no frills sports car. proper.

350 is following its predecesor's heritage... so i'll give you that.

and in the end i wasn't trying to spark an arguement... and there's no real reason for anyone to be defensive because the fact of the matter is you're all personally aware of what is going on in your own cars and its shortcomings.

i just wanted to share the fact that i was not aware of them before and now i am.
