I have searched and didnt really find the answer I was looking for. So that is why I am posting this. Is the cooling plate worth the money, or is the money better spent elsewhere? I just picked up an 03 evo 8, and looking to fix it up and wha not. I dont plan on doing many mods at this time. My mods to add consist of new drop in air filter, exhaust, reflash, and maybe a MBC. Other than that I would like to keep it somewhat stock for awhile.

i personally think its just for looks!! i have the carbing one!! kinda regret buying it!! but whats done is done!!

 

Yeah I think its mainly for looks also... and it fills in the ugly gaps between the bumper and the frame

 

no its not worth it! if u just started modding i will suggest u spend yr money elsewhere, i bought mine is because i have nothing much i can mod (within my budget). its 95% for looks and 5% functional.

 

buy it for it's looks not for the funtion, it's like all other engine dress up parts..
