I used to wish I had waited for the IX to come out before I bought my VIII MR, but now I really wished I would've waited for the SE.

I hope you get the car before this weekend, Jeff. I want to see it. It's so nice to hear that the one you're looking at is Grey because I don't think this town could stand for another Silver evo (accounts for like 80-90%). Pretty cool how it matches your old Cobra.

Mitsubishi released the press pics of a GG Evolution IX SE about 2 weeks ago here:
http://media.mitsubishicars.com/Mode...er%20Evolution

And there were also some pics posted previously on this board of a GG SE from the MOD meet about 3 weeks ago. That was presumably the same car as in these press pics.

But no one has yet posted any pics of an actual production SE on a dealer lot yet. And we have no pics of the Silver or Black SEs either. And now there is also some question as to whether the seats are as pictured in the Mitsu Press Kit pics or whether they are "solid black with the red stiching", as SVT2Evo? said...

Here's pics of a Tarmac Black IX SE at San Mateo Mitsubishi:

Note the "SE trunk badge. Also note that the production seats are actually black/grey/black, much to my dismay...

That is se badge is fugly. That should be the first thing to go, and those seats would definetly look better used with the regular IX seats + red stiching.

Well I'm not getting it now those clowns sold it out from under me ! I was ready to buy Wed but I had to wait for them to get the invoice in . I talked with the salesman today and he said they got the onvoice . Then he called back and the car was sold yesterday . I was pissed ! What kills me is I was waiting on them , they weren't waiting on me . So I the search continues for an Evo , I do know they have lost me as cutomer over this BS and I won't be buying it from them !

I can't believe that. I didn't like experience there as far as sales went, but the parts guys gives me crazy discounts everytime.

Have you looked into calling some of mitsu dealers a little further down the road? There is a stokes mitsu. in beufort, myrtle beach and sumter. Maybe you can have them trasnport an evo to CHS mits. from another dealer (fla, ga, NC, etc)?
