06 EVO IX se

i just got my evo IX se tarmac black. i was wondering what kind of intake is good for this car and what else i could do to the car to get it up to 350whp..thanks

hehe welcome to evo nation man... i see u dont know much about it! but very good choice!! i would recommand you get a tbe(turbo back exhaust) fuel pump, mbc, i have hks rs intake (one of the best), and get a great tune and you will be very close or on 350!

Oh man forget that....... I would get a vta blow off valve first to make cool whoosh and pssst sounds and be like fast and furious and stuff.........

stick with a drop-in like the K&N or Works.

Leave it to a fellow OT'er to come up with the best mod EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, do a search....the Warrtalon mod is a popular one, many others on here. Look at past threads and you will find a wealth of info.

The Warrtalon package is a great place to start but its posible to get everything in it seperately for cheaper....

I recommend the Megan catback stainless steel 3" exhaust from Zeus for $365 shipped. I'm running the DC Sport downpipe. I also had a custom tune. Car really woke up.

Next mod I am doing is lower intercooler pipe, buschur intake and retune. Not sure if I'm going to throw on my manual boost controller.

Nice choice on the IX tarmac black.

Drop in really is best. Bruscher is a nice intake. Just make sure you get a tune if you get an intake.

welcome! i just got my Evo as well (19 days ago )

i just picked up the buschur tbe and intake, and i plan to get an mbc, IC Hard Pipe kit, and of course a flash.

i think i'll be pretty happy w/ the car at that point
