Just got my Evo IX

As the title says just got my Evo IX in wicked white. I live in New York but I actually bought it from South Coast. The dealers here couldnt be worked below $31,000 some even quoting me prices of $39,000+. So I saved some money even with shipping costs. It was shipped via DAS and I must say they are great and I highly recomend them to anyone. Only problem is upon start up the Service engin light is on. I have the code for EGR flow and another code. Im kind of upset but its going to the dealer monday to get fixed I hope. I checked the vacuum lines and they're all intact si who knows. All I know is with the engine light on the thing sucks gas down like no tommorow and i can smell raw gas almost in the exhaust fumes. Besides that the car is sick and it was worth working almost everyday this summer for it!

check under the throttle body about 6 inches. there is a nipple back there and the line just came off, same thing happened to my IX. It is on the underside you will feel it and just put the hose back on a zip tie it on there. Its a pain in the ***!!!!!!!!!

I felt all in there, theres one pointing down and one pointing toward the passenger side. Both lines are on and they are connected at the other side too so it dont know what it is then.

Congratulations on your purchase man, I just bought a Graphite Grey Evo 9 SE from Yonkers Mitsubishi yesterday. You definately could have gotten a great deal from them, they were extremely flexible with their prices and the whole experience was great. None the less man, congratulations on your pruchase, you're going to love every minute of it man. Where in New York are you located?

Congrats on the car!

I got mine from South Coast also - great to deal with - although my shipping experience with DAS wasn't as nice as yours...

Hope you get the problems all straightened out!

Paid extra for door-to-door shipping, but they were a week late and after I started cleaning the car (as I had expressly told them that I didn't want them trying to wash it, thus adding the inevitable swirl marks), I found several small gashes in the lower part of the rear bumper which i can only assume came from the chain they used to tie it down on the truck.

Anyway, since I work at a dealership that has a good body shop, I brought it in today to have the bumper fixed before I put it away for the winter in another month or so (and to also have the front windshield replace due to a rock chip I got a couple of weeks ago).

True I saw afterwards how they wash the cars with a broom or something lol. I do have a lot of bird craps on my car still but I am going to do the Zaino thing the next chance I get. The stuff is awesome it made my old Mazdaspeed protege shine like crazy.

I actually picked up my WW GSR today as well. I'm in MA.

How much did you pay from SouthCoast? It was real difficult for me to get in touch with those guys.

I paid 28517 including destination. Then I had to pay 800 to have it shipped here from Virginia.
