Rear Sway Bar question

So I am thinking about getting the Cusco Rear Adj. Sway Bar 23mm for my VIII and I was wondering what you all think about doing this. I can only afford the rear one as my buddy is selling his for super cheap and will give it to me. Do you guys notice a significant difference? Does it make the daily driving worse?
Thanks in advance!

The rear is the only one you should consider upgrading as the front is big enough and upgrading the front would negate the effects of upgrading the rear. Try searching the suspension forum as there are threads about sway bars all the time. You might not notice too much of a difference since the stocker is 22mm. I have the 27mm Agency power rear and that thing is great, eliminiates the understeer that was common in stock form.

Yeps, search, I just went through this process to get mine. I just put on the Hotchkis 24mm adjustable. I'm running on the middle setting, but only for a few days.

It should allow you to rotate the back end out during hard cornering I believe. If you have it really stiff, you'll be on the edge of losing control - which some people like and can then throttle control it. I've heard be careful, as they'll take a bit of getting used to as the dynamics of weight distribution change - ala rear end movement!

this is a 3 setting swaybar, I am just wondering because right now, the car handles better then any car I have ever owned... even my wrx with full suspension didn't handle close to this.

Right now I have springs and front and rear strut braces. I am just wondering if you all think this mod will be worth it?

This will improve handling by making the understeer and body roll less when taking corners, but be advised that you're suspension/chassis will be stiffer which may play a roll in losing control in bad weather/streets for novice drivers.
