NSX's are track beasts (not that the EVO isnt). They are two totally different cars IMO. Not even comparable. NSX is super sexy. Id take an NSX over an EVO anyday but its not a practical car I need a car I can drive all year long. AWD FTW. Agreed Id like to own one for the rareity but parts are rediculously expensive. I know a guy with a comptech SC NSX and that thing would eat my car for breakfast in every way. You can pick up an older one cheap enough but like I said parts are ridiculous

Compare to what? A stock 8? Nope, stock vs. stock the nsx will take you. Now modded is a different story as we don't have any specs on the NSX or Evo.

Horrible sway bars and struts? WTF... Oh man, you sound sooo ignorant right now. What model NSX has struts? Must be that special addition that YOU only know...

See this is just the thing man.....you obviously have never driven an NSX and probably never rode in one.....you are comparing it to an MR2 for gods sake....it handles nothing like an MR2 i dont care if they are both Mid-Rear.....your ignorance is unsurpassed.

NSX does not have a Legend V6.....NSX was the first car to ever come stock with titanium connecting rods and all aluminum body. The wheelbase itself is much longer than the MR2 and the track width is much wider making it a much better handling car then Evo and MR2.

It may not have the straightline speed, but thats not what you are paying for with an NSX. The NSX is a purebred. Only skilled drivers can drive it to the limit. The Evo takes much less skill to drive with all of the computers saving your ***. In the world of racing easy to drive doesn't necessarily = fun. Some people like a challenge and like the feeling of truely mastering a car, unlike the evo that you can just drive off the lot and toss around.

The NSX is praised as the best handling sports car by many people you might know including Dori-dori (drift King) and many others. I think you need to test drive one before you go spouting off your ignorant *** comments.

And as far as them being slow on track....do you mean in an actual wheel to wheel race???? I bet not. You are probably talking about HPDE, which is not real racing at all and far from it. People at HPDE are 99% amateurs and if you had a car you paid a lot for with no warranty I don't think you would be driving it like Michael Schumacher either ...in fact that is the one thing I do agree on.....Most of the NSX's at HPDE do drive slow....I pass them in my Integra actually....but thats mostly because they have very little experience and are afraid to wad up such a nice car....I can't say i wouldn't be just as timid with any car that nice whether it be a NSX or a Porsche.....so you can't just say that the car is slow yada yada.....the DRIVER is slow not the car.....get it straight.

When you pay for an NSX you pay for balance....go ahead and mod your evo al you want and try to take someone that can really drive on a road course and you will be surprised...an NSX will gain in braking and on corner entry...you will gain on the straight....

And the fact that you think you have experience because you crashed an evo and a MR2 thats really pretty funny.

Wow Someone really has a hard on for the NSX. A modded Evo for the track is a force to be reckoned with sir... If you like the NSX so much why not get yourself a used one? Should be cheaper then a used IX? Makes sense right?

I appreciate cars for what they are....i don't spout misinformed and false info just because I own a specific car.

Yes I own an ITR...i think that the ITR is also a well balanced car, but it lacks in torque and grip....that's why I'm here.

Yes I like NSX's but it's not practical for me to have more than one two-seater....the integra is already a two seater....so I wanted a fun car that can sit five.

Trust me....I am only defending the NSX because this idiot up there is saying that the evo "walks all over it" and I know for a fact it does not. He has no experience and I can bet if he talks to any experienced driver or race car driver that they would say the NSX is a great car. Because it is.

I did not say it had more value/dollar than the evo. Obviously I am buying an evo so I know about the evo and its benefits as well. I just dont like it when people bash something they know nothing about.

I'm buying the evo because its fast, it doesnt need too many mods, looks pretty normal as far as cops are concerned, 4wd for snow and wet weather, good looks, seats 5 which I need for business purposes.

So you can say whatever you want about me. I have RESPECT for the NSX....I didn't say I would give my left nut for it. I wasn't even talking to you to begin with.

The NSX and Evolution are both legends in their own right. The NSX is an amazing car that is amazing on the track. I had the opportunity to drive one at Laguna and I managed to spin out a few times. Does that make the car horrible? No, it's my horrible skills that managed to make it spin out. I also drove a friend's Evo during that same track session. The Evo as well was a real pleasure to drive and I was blown away at how easy it was to lap before I managed to get used to the car.

I still enjoyed my laps in the NSX though. I would love to purchase a NSX-R sometime in the future if they decide to bring one to the states.

I suggest you post this question over at NSX Prime . For the most part they are all very mature and informative. But if you are looking for opinions, and or facts, you need to get them from both sides.

The NSX is an amazing vehicle, but it's biggest problem is that it lacks torque and does not respond well to mods compared to the Evo.

If your looking to get good power out of a few simple mods your going to go with the Evo. But if you have some spare cash to pick up an NSX and mod it, then by all means.

I've driven some SC'ed NSXs and they are extremely fast but if you are looking for raw power, the Evo is it.

In regards to the people who claim that the maint costs for the NSX are high, I disagree. Although some parts are a bit more expensive, the reason NSX maint if more expensive is the labor. The NSX is not the easiest thing to work on and most places will charge you more simply because it's an NSX. Not to mention that most NSX owners will tell you they will never take their car to anyone except local known shops who are approved by other nsxprime members, or an NSX certified Acura mechanic. So that being said, you can maintain an NSX for cheap, it's just a n/a Honda engine, but when you paid 90k for a brand new one, you tend to pay more for the "better" service.

I love the Evo
I love the NSX
